Kentkart has initiated the ‘Contactless Smartcard Automatic Fare Collection and Vehicle
Tracking System’ in Canakkale on the 16th of June 2006 and services a total of 96
buses, 13 of which are owned by the Municipality. With a population of 473.000,
47.000 Canakkale inhabitants have been using Kentkart.
