Kentkart implemented the ‘Contactless Smartcard Automatic Fare Collection and Vehicle
Tracking System’ in Gebze on the 18th of January, 2007. The system has been installed
in a total of 219 Privately Operated Public Buses. Since the system has started
to proceed, Kentkart has been getting used by about 88.000 Inhabitants of Gebze.
