Kentkart has been managing ‘Contactless Smartcard Automatic Fare Collection System’
in Manisa since the15th of May, 2004. It is used by about 20.000 Manisa inhabitants.
Since the system has been installed, Kentkart has been used particularly by students
in a total of 32 Privately Operated Public Buses. The Vehicle Tracking System has been
integrated on the 26th of November into the current system, so owners of Privately
Operated Public Buses have been enabled to track their resources automatically.
Manisa was the first city in Turkey of which used the Vehicle Tracking System.
