The modern system of management and monitoring of public transport, as well as a new system of electronic tickets for transportation officially begins to work  first February. It was announced at a press conference at the Directorate for Public Transport and Operations Control Centre (YCC), which is used to track all vehicles and will receive information about the safety of passengers, drivers and total transport. This will allow better management of public transport in the city.  City Manager Alexander Bijelić stated that the establishment of Operational control center of Belgrade started an innovation in public transport and thus approached the system of public transportation in the world and European capitals. - OKC is equipped with the latest technology, completed the training of all personnel who work in it, which are primarily personnel from GSP "Beograd" and the Directorate for Public Transport.  The benefits that this system will be recognized within the first days of implementation. The public transport will be easier and will provide better information to the citizens. We will have the opportunity to follow day, minute to minute, every movement of vehicles, speed, and create more security. In addition to the buses, citizens will also receive information about next stop. Sms informing is also possibe for the citizens about where the bus is and when it comes to the station, and so will reduce congestion at the station - said Bijelic. Director of Public Transport Sarac Zoran said that OKC will start operating from 1 February and it will start monitoring the movement of public transport, control, data processing and complete management of public transport. Then the system "Bus Plus" to function fully, and that means that we have merged data from two sub-systems that make it, traffic management subsystem and ticket sales. - In this paper, this system will attend all carriers, GSP, "Swallow", other private carriers and Bg train. For a start, "Bus Plus" system equipped with a 1851 vehicle, built the computer so much and driving, almost 6400 validator. Trained as engineers, drivers, dispatchers, controllers. Nearly half a million people so far removed personalized "Bus Plus" card, which is far more than the number of stamps purchased months earlier - Sarac said. The most important functions of the OKC vehicle tracking in real time through DžPS, the centralized management of transport network, information on all emergency situations, speed control, text messages from the center to the drivers, panic buttons, which will enable the production of quality schedules, better passenger information, fleet management, quality analysis. Manager "Bus Plus" system Veljko Vlahovic said that in this system there are several types of cards, personalized cards are a substitute for the benefits and use it to transport people through the use of monthly tickets. In addition to these there are rechargeable, nepersonalizovane card. They can be plastic, valid for three years, and can be indefinitely expanded upon nepersonalizovane and paper cards, which are designed for those who occasionally use public transport, supplemented by up to a maximum of 600 dinars and are valid for three months. There are paper tickets for one ride, which are bought from the driver and does not validate it.He pointed out that the validation process simplified, takes seconds and is done by the card close to your device that is located near the door of the vehicle. In the first period, citizens will be able to validate their ticket and during the drive, and enter the doors, and controllers will continue to provide all necessary information about the system.nepersonalizovanih card users have a slight difference in validation because there are more options. It is the citizens who are riding in more areas and they have the option to choose the display validators, and have the option to ride one card to pay for some passengers. The conference was attended by the Director of the Turkish company "Kentkart" Ercan Unal, who said that he expects that this system will significantly improve the quality of services. This company based in Istanbul, provides services in the management of vehicle tracking systems and payment cards in eight countries and expectations are that this system will be among the best in Europe.
