current route on a 19” LCD screen and can also hear and see the current and upcoming

Passenger Information via SMS
Kentkart has achieved another innovation in Passenger Information
Systems via the use of cellular phones in Turkey. Passengers can get information
on upcoming bus arrival time and/or trip durations by simply typing and sending
desired bus route and bus stop codes in a single SMS to a GSM operator service number.
Passenger receives an instant message within seconds regarding the next three
buses arrival times to the selected bus stop. Thus, passengers can spend more time
at home or work instead of waiting at the bus stops.
