Please note that we give priority to applicants who hold a BS or MS degree in Computer/Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field.

The primary purpose of this role is to work on queries, reporting, testing databases, and conducting database performance tests, ensuring their proper operation and optimization. This includes database maintenance, backup, troubleshooting, and coordination with various teams for system improvements and deployments.

Job Requirements

• Education: Graduates from relevant university departments (Computer/Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics etc.),
• Skills: Strong technical and organizational skills, a team player with excellent interpersonal abilities,
• Problem Solving: Analytical thinker with an inner drive for solving problems,
• Language: English, with a proficiency level of B2,
• Computer Skills: Knowledge of Linux and SQL is a plus.

• Work on queries and reporting, testing databases, and conducting and optimizing database performance tests.
• Perform maintenance, repair, and update operations on the databases in charge.
• Implement necessary technical redundancy measures for the databases in charge to ensure business continuity.
• Resolve errors that occur during the operation of applications on the database and update databases according to changing conditions.
• Provide suggestions to developers and superiors to improve the performance of the database system and programs.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 Information Security Management System standards, policies, procedures, and instructions.
• Take necessary measures to protect information security and personal privacy in accordance with KVKK provisions, report any potential security breaches to the superior, and ensure preventive actions are taken.
• Intervene in problems that may arise in customer systems within the scope of the signed SLA.
• Share problems encountered in database design/development stages and projects with the Team Leader, develop solution proposals, and report to the superior.
