A New Era for Public Transportation in Turkey

We’re excited to announce our partnership with BKM Bankalararası Kart Merkezi (Interbank Card Center of Turkey), bringing TROY, Turkey’s national card scheme, to public transport in 24 cities — powered by Kentkart!

With this agreement, signed by our CEO Çınar Basmacı and Ozan Deniz, CEO of the Interbank Card Center, over 20 million people of these cities will have the opportunity to use TROY cards for seamless contactless payments and special discounts on public transportation.

In 2006, we revolutionized Turkey’s public transportation by introducing credit card payments, setting the stage for digital transformation in transit. Today, we are proud to remain at the forefront, advancing fare collection technology to drive the nation’s mobility into the future.
