Driving Smart Mobility: ITS Istanbul 2026 Highlights
We recently concluded a highly productive three days at the ITS European Congress 2026, held at the Istanbul Congress Center. As a leader in public transport technology, it was an honor to engage with industry experts, partners, and visitors in our home country to discuss the future of integrated mobility.
Throughout the event, our team at Stand B5 showcased how Kentkart’s ecosystem—ranging from account-based ticketing to AI-powered planning and scheduling systems—is simplifying operations and enhancing the passenger experience.
Expert Insights from the Stage
Our participation went beyond the exhibition floor, with two of our key team members contributing to vital industry dialogues as speakers:
Fırat Albayrak (Head of Global Sales & Marketing): Joined a high-level panel alongside Turkcell and Ericsson. The discussion focused on the necessity of coordination across multiple layers—including network intelligence and mobility services—to deliver truly connected transport. Fırat highlighted integrated payment and fare collection as a critical enabler, emphasizing that systems must adapt to the user to ensure frictionless journeys.
Aidar Zain (Global Marketing Executive): Participated in a session organized by AUS Türkiye (ITS Türkiye) regarding multimodal integration. Aidar discussed how cities can build unified digital foundations by bringing different modes, including micromobility, into a single integrated ticketing system.
